The report found that Toronto’s green space provides residents with over $80 million worth of environmental benefits and cost savings each year, and that it’s a “critical factor” in the environment, human health, and overall quality of life.
“An investment in urban forests is an investment in the overall economic and environmental well-being of urban society,” says the report.
