A planting project at Earl Bales Park in Toronto

UFORA can help you implement a vision to regenerate valuable neighbourhood green space and urban forests, or just plant a tree on your lawn.

We facilitate community tree planting efforts in many different projects – from working with individuals to large school and community groups to organizing corporate events.

UFORA has worked with community organizations such as Girl Guides, Rotary Clubs, Earth Day Canada, Evergreen, Scouts Canada, Parc Downsview Park, Army Cadets, and the Todmorden Mills Wildflower Preserve. Projects can be as small as one special tree or as large as thousands of plants over many hectares.

We’ve worked with Royal York Hotel employees, Imperial Life Financial, Amex Canada, St. Joseph Communications, Dupont Canada, CCL Industries, the Daniels Corporation, Sunoco Inc., Genuine Health, and Johnson & Johnson over the years.  Some are a one-time event and some continue for several years.

We monitor our sites and keep records of plantings, maintenance, and monitoring results. We continually develop new techniques and strategies to improve our knowledge and practices.
