A restored wet forest site at Todmorden Mills Park in Toronto

Let UFORA help you bring back the natural landscaping of your deteriorating urban green space.

UFORA provides a wide range of consulting and contract services to private homeowners, municipalities, community groups and other consultants working with wetlands, urban forests and ravines.

We focus on the specific site conditions of the local area, and incorporate natural materials into the site design to provide habitat for animals and rebuild degraded soils. Our work includes ravine care and ravine restoration which has recently made headlines across Toronto and the GTA.

Long-term maintenance, or stewardship, is at the core of our thinking when we design a site. This is the most conservative approach to restoring forests, with the greatest chance of success at the lowest cost. Nature does most of the hard work and we make small adjustments from time to time to keep things on track to our goal.

Below is a list of some of the places in the GTA that we have worked extensively:

G. Ross Lord Park, Toronto
MTO lands: Leslie/401 and Victoria Park/401 Interchanges, Toronto
Bluehaven Park, Toronto
Weston Golf and Country Club, Toronto
