UFORA, working with partners has planted about 20 acres at Earl Bales Park over the years. It’s been a major project of ours.  We also supervised the construction and planting of the storm-water pond and the project to twin the storm-water pipes that lead to the pond.

Below is a partial timeline of our work at Earl Bales, starting with the first plantings in 1994 with a local school.  We’ve also planted in three other sections of the park, assessed trees for the ski hill maintenance work, and wrote plans for City of Toronto staff to use on their own planting projects in the park.

Earl Bales Storm-water Pond Phase 1, 2010
In 2010, we were hired to be the arborists and site inspectors for the installation of the storm-water pond that was built by Toronto Water. We supervised clearing of the site, tree protection, designed and supervised plantings by a contractor.
